Dear Friends and Fellow Ludwigs,
When we lived our first life, we loved traditions. The weekly matinees, the monthly concertos, the quarterlies, the celebrations. We loved how the concert hall looked, all decorated, and we loved the attention to detail from everyone, both audience and musicians.
We still love traditions and in a couple of hours we open the doors to one of our new traditions; our Monthly Town Hall. A place for conversation, music and end of month financial reporting. It will once again take place on our Discord at 18.00 UTC.
Besides end of month reporting the conversation will be about Optimism and the work the team is doing on preparing for the launch at the end of month.
Below you will find a short programme for our week ahead. A short deep dive into the different circles of our Beethoven X Orchestra.
Development
The dev team is optimistically tweaking the entire stack, from backend to front end to continue to give you all a great experience. You could say that we are using this opportunity to tune our instruments and prepare for the next movement. Join the Monthly Town Hall to hear more.
Design
Design, Devs and Marketing are working on small tweaks to our overall design, that we are sure you will fall in love with. When it comes to designing our journey onto optimism it is crucial to us that you, Ludwigs, the driving force behind the Beethoven X movement can recognise your home as it expands. We are sure you can, and we will drop some clues over the coming week. Maybe Degen got himself some new shades and some new merch.
Marketing and Biz Dev
As your house gets an extension and new guests are coming through your front door we are in planning mode with a build up that begins next week. (Maybe it has already started).
All fun aside, Marketing and Bizz Dev are ramping up their efforts to build a fun and engaging launch while continuing to servicing our home, our city, our Vienna, our roots with the utmost attention. We are gifted with a talented and hardworking team with the tools to succeed, so now it is just execution. Let’s go.
To answer some of the questions we are seeing; Will we launch another discord server? No. Will we use new handles on twitter? No. Will you be able to recognise Beethoven in the updated design? Of course. It is Beethoven X. The X is already legendary.
Research
Talking about legends; Josey is ramping up to begin the next study about “What makes a protocol stick to a community and what makes a community stick to a protocol”. The first interviews are already taking place and during the week we will open a public channel to let more conversation unfold. What do we believe? Well, that will be up for Josey to disclose.
Finance
Some of you might have been waiting for Symphony of the Week yesterday. And some of you might already be used to it by now. Symphony of the Week does not arrive on the week of the Monthly Town Hall. So today as you lean back and enjoy the show, listen for some of the updates that the finance team have come up with. Listen to how they expect to work with the new Optimism Deployement, And — we are sure the Finance team are up for another fireside chat after last month’s monster success.

Gauge Vote Round 10
Yes you read that correctly. 10 (!) We remember how we almost made 10 symphonies in our first life. We had to dig ourselves into a grave, wait for 200 years and then come back before the 10th was ready. And now 10 gauge votes. Do you remember the first? Do you remember how Magical Jeffery spun it all up in a matter of minutes, how the legends from Gondor (OneRing.Finance) brought the first gold and silver to the party. Exciting times. Now we are 10 votes in. Almost a tradition. Every second week you can use your vote to get bribes. Powerful music.
