Protocol Sweep
Maestros, bringing you the protocol revenue results for the month of December:
At the time of collection, fees totalled $41.6k
🔵 $6.5k (15.5%) of the fees were generated on Fantom
🔴 $35.1k (84.5%) were generated on Optimism
Compared to November results:
⬇️ Fantom fees decreased by 16.5%
⬆️ Optimism fees increased by 38.6%
Collected fees were deployed in the following ways:
Held on Optimism
- $27.7k was used to buy OP to be paired with our Optimism grant and used as incentives.
- $1.5k was used to buy OP to use as Roast Beets incentives under BIP-52.
Treasury
- $1.3k was converted to 1960 Fantom Layer of the Opera BPTs and sent to the Fantom treasury.
- $3.2k was saved as USDC on the Optimism treasury.
- $2.8k will be used to acquire vlAura.
maBEETS voting incentives
- $5.1k was used to obtain 7571 Fantom Layer of the Opera BPTs to be used as Fantom gauge vote bounties.
Hidden Hand
The BEETS Wars have just hit a new crescendo — Beethoven X has taken to the stage on Redacted Finance’s Hidden Hand voting marketplace!
From now on, all gauge bounties will now find their rhythm through Hidden Hand.

Governance
We’re battening down the hatches maestros! Last week the security-focused BIP-58 passed with a unanimous vote.
The proposal will onboard the Beethoven X domains with domainSure security. DNS hijacks have been seen all over the DeFi landscape with two of the most recent victims being Velodrome and Balancer. This has urged the core contributors to revisit our strategy in terms of DNS security. The offered services focus on infrastructure protection and provide a complete suite of tools and mechanisms to secure the DNS

Gas Monetization
Get your umbrellas maestros- It’s raining $FTM!
This week the Fantom Foundation’s Gas Monetization Quarterly bonus dropped, for all the details check out this article. As a tier 1 contributor, we received the top allocation of 41,574 $FTM! Of this, 30% will flow straight to active maBEETS holders in the form of gauge vote bounties.

Another wave of the bi-weekly Gauge Vote has been completed and the votes are in. This round, almost 7000 Fantom Layer of the Opera BPTs were offered as BEETS bounties.
