Tis the season to be jolly and we’re most definitely taking advantage of the festive cheer — BeetNog and minced pies is a combo to die for. As we approach the close of a wonderful year there is plenty to be proud of and so much to celebrate. It’s been a journey and we have come so far!

Governance
Today a top-notch BIP successfully passed! The proposal looks to establish a Beethoven X DAO Treasury framework which allows streamlined value maintenance and accrual.
The framework outlines two key aspects: Tenets and Risk. Tenets are goals or intent that the treasury should fulfill and are ordered in priority. Whereas the risk framework defines levels from 0 to 3 (Minimal, Low, Medium, and High), with each risk level having a maximum allocation to ensure the treasury risks are diversified. Any future BIPs that are targeting the use of treasury assets will be assessed against this new framework.
Currently, the treasury already meets the specifications laid out in the BIP (as we can see below) so no further action will be taken immediately. However, in the future, all proposals that effect the treasury will be assessed against this new framework.

Social Science Lab

The weeks are just flying by and the next round of the Beethoven Gauge Vote is just on the horizon.

This week our all-star Tri-LST pool, ‘Ethereum Triplets’, led the way, generating almost $7.5M in volume and over $10K in fees.
