Gauge Vote
The weeks are just flying by and the next round of the Beethoven Gauge Vote is just on the horizon.
Don’t miss the opportunity to have your say in BEETS emissions for the period of the 24th of August to the 6th of September.
50% of the BEETS farm emissions are decided by the maBEETS gauge and the next round will start this Thursday!
Governance
Since the multichain disaster things have been up in the air. But it's time to get this show back on the road.
The latest governance proposal, BIP-49, outlines a plan to establish a new bridge for BEETS tokens on Optimism. The bridge will be powered by Layer Zero and therefore a new L0BEETS token will be deployed. The proposal will also see 2.85M BEETS sent from the Beethoven X treasury to Optimism to be used in a migration contract, allowing users to migrate multiBEETS to L0BEETS.
The vote will conclude on August 15th at 5pm UTC.
Tech
Flat out as usual, the BEETS dev crew are making moves!
The brand new pool creator is nearing completion with the first test pools now created using the fresh UI. And let me tell you firsthand, this thing’s lookin sleek and smooth. The new creator will allow all you Ludwigs to easily create new weighted pools at the drop of a hat.

In the name of innovation, let's check back in with one of Beethoven’s finest: The Gyroscope E-CLP.
TVL is now almost matching that of ‘Shanghai Shakedown’ at around $2.2M, with around $1.88M of that staked on Aura Finance generating boosted yields. Over the previous 7 days, the E-CLP has facilitated $1.8M in volume compared to $1.6M from ‘Shanghai Shakedown’. And in total, the E-CLP is over double as capital efficient, with a 7-day capital efficiency of 27.5% compared to 12.7%.
