The events following the collapse of FTX have echoed throughout the Cryptoverse instilling a sense of unease and perhaps disappointment within the industry once again.
Many have been affected and we extend our hearts in a moment of empathy and compassion. Navigating the figurative waters of DeFi safely is hard even at the best of times and this incident has had significant consequences for the industry as whole.
All storms pass however and in these troubling times, remember that you are far from alone. We are all here together, learning lessons, building futures and growing stronger.
This is just another bump on the road to Vienna and we will traverse the hardships together.

When the weather outside is a little crazy, we do not fret. Nothing changes and nothing alters; we do what we do best. We build! We continue to lay the foundations and construct the framework for an ever more promising future. The DEVs are still plodding away ferociously at two new innovative features for the protocol; Fantom Boosted Pools and Reliquary!
Fully kitted up in the latest web3 protective gear, some serious battle testing is now underway. Security and safety are everything. This stage of development is critical, and we take it super seriously! Working alongside the renowned Byte Masons, the revolutionary primitive that is Reliquary is getting close to being integrated with fBEETS and released to the world. It’s a masterpiece, and we can’t wait to show it off. Wen?! Soon.
The new boosted pools on Fantom are looking sweeet! Get ready for some of the most capital-efficient and composable pools on the network. Next level innovation, unrivalled sustainability. Our Fantom family is going to love what’s to come! Do we have any FTM maxis in the house?!
Governance
It’s a rare moment when there isn’t some kind of proposal in process at Beethoven X. That doesn’t mean we’re not up to something however. With the new DAO structures smoothly up and running and the Team funding supported by the Treasury, the stage has been set for another phase of growth and development. We will keep the community informed as new discussions come into play and look forward to the music to come.
FTX
In the interest of transparency we want to iterate that no team funds or protocol funds were on FTX. Beethoven X remains largely unaffected and will continue to operate as usual.
We stand for community, rain or shine and we want you all to know we are here for anyone in need. Please reach out to members of the team or send a message in the general chat if you feel called to. We are always happy to help or just be there to listen.

The world of web3 is non stop, fast paced, and drama filled. Every day is an adventure. Every day there are endless new mysteries to uncover. There is certainly no place like it. It’s mental! But, when you push new the boundaries of new frontiers, what can you expect?
In these moments, it’s more important than ever to reflect. What are we truly here to do? The collapse of FTX has highlighted the monumental importance of DeFi. Banks and centralised exchanges aren’t built for the people. We clearly have to improve.
The need for a trustless, welcoming, and promising system for everyone to participate in the world of finance is essential. DeFi is the future, and we are here to help build it. The journey ahead of us certainly won’t be easy, but nothing worth chasing ever is. We move onwards.
