Dear Friends and Fellow Ludwigs,

It’s April and a new month is blossoming! A new week is beginning and Q2 has officially started. The music for the last couple of months has been immense; so much sound, so much emotion and so much to be grateful for -truly a symphony to be remembered.

It has been such an incredible journey so far and we are super excited to be embarking on the next phase of this adventure with you all. Let’s keep the spirits high and carry the momentum forward as we blast into Q2.

So what is on the Concerto for this week?

Boosted Pools AMA:

Following the recent innovation and launch of the flagship Boosted Pools we co hosted a Twitter Space last week with BalancerLabs and FTMAlerts to take a deep dive into the tech and the vision for the future. For anyone that missed the event you can find a link to the recording here. So much alpha from some of the greatest Devs in the game; definitely worth a listen.

New Emissions from Gauge Vote:

Another wave of the bi weekly gauge vote has been completed. Round 7 was met with all the madness and success we could hope for; a huge thank you to everyone who participated. We will be implementing the updates for the pools tomorrow and will keep you all informed as we proceed via Discord and Twitter.

For the final results of the gauge vote, please check out the snapshot here.

Town Hall AMA:

The music just doesn’t stop! Join us this Thursday, April 7th at 18:00 UTC for the Monthly Town Hall AMA. We have another jam packed agenda in store and will be discussing the following topics: the performance of the protocol for the last quarter, a wonderful journey into a roadmap for the rest of the year, an update on the Beethoven X impact fund, a quick catch up with where we are at with the locking initiative and answering questions from our beloved community.

Come with a big heart and an open mind, it’s going to be a blast. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!

The Town Hall AMA will take place over on our Discord.

Community Discussion:

The discussion channels on our Discord have been quite the topic as of late with so much going on in the community:

  • We recently saw the close of a discussion to extend the Bonding program with OlympusPro to gain protocol owned liquidity. Overall, the bonding program has been viewed as successful in terms of diversifying treasury assets and has also provided a great avenue for long term holders to acquire discounted BEETS. The Snapshot vote was met with 84% of the community in favour of continuation for the initiative. For a full breakdown check out the snapshot vote here.
  • Another major topic of discussion has been around the upcoming locking initiative. A vote was called toward the end of last week and the snapshot will end today at 18:00 UTC. You can check out the current status of the vote here.
  • Last week saw the close of a discussion to decide on treasury investment for the month of March. The vote sparked a passionate response from the community around the responsibility voters have towards the protocol and was summed up beautifully in a Medium article which you can read here. For a full breakdown of the vote results check out the snapshot here.

If you have missed out on any of the discussions and would like to get up to date you can always read up on either current or archived community discussions on our Discord

Review Article on Locking:

We are constantly striving to build a platform that will propel us to the forefront of development in the DeFi ecosystem and believe that “Locking” has its part to play in that journey.

Following an exploratory study and a “deep dive” AMA into the subject, the team have prepared an amazing, in depth review article to summarise the major findings.

A lot of hard work and effort went into this article and we are super proud to present it to you. The article has been published on Medium and can be found here.

Monthly Performance report:

The performance report is an in-depth overview of how the business is performing. It aims to define the metrics of success for Beethoven X in a fun and easy to understand manner as well as offer transparency to our users.

This month will be a special edition as we will cover the major findings for the first quarter for the year.

The report will be detailed in depth during the live Community Town Hall this Thursday and will be followed up with a short Medium article later in the week.

Devs:

The team behind the scenes are busy at work making sure that our platform runs as safely and as smoothly as possible. Here is what they have to say:

  • The “my portfolio page” is currently receiving some much needed love and affection. The first fixes were implemented towards the end of last week and will be continued to be improved upon as the week rolls out.
  • Security for the site has been a big focus with a ton of effort allocated towards making Beethoven X as safe as possible.
  • General bug fixes and UX/UI updates.

The road ahead looks bright, dear friends.

As we journey into the future we take a moment to pause and reflect on the past. We take a moment to celebrate how far we have come together and to gather ourselves for the next phase of this wonderful adventure. As we journey into the future, into the abundance of the unknown we couldn’t be more excited to have you by our sides. A toast to the best community a project could ever have!

We look forward to all of the good times to be shared and to all of the merry music to come. We look forward to the progress and innovation and to the fulfilment of our mission — to be the best darn DEX the world has ever seen.

Onward to Vienna, dear Ludwigs. The road ahead looks bright!

Have a heart filled week,

Beethoven X
